Tyler J. McCallWhere I grew up, we made our own holiday decorations, cooked family recipes, and drank a lot of sweet tea. We said “yes ma’am” and “no sir,” and always referred to a group of people as “y’all.” We never missed the chance to crack a joke and we rarely took life seriously.

A social media addict and web-obsessed 20-something, I got my start in the blog world with a local, monthly news site before moving on to The 20 Somethings – one of Asheville’s leading culture, style, and personal interest blogs.

Leaves and Beards is my little corner of the Internet – celebrating all things home, decor, do it yourself, cooking, and drinking.

What’s your blog’s name about?  I love leaves (I even have a tattoo of one) and I’m a fella with a beard. Makes sense, right?

    1. Jen! There are so many great places! Try out Biscuithead for breakfast, High Five Coffee for delicious drinks, White Duck Taco Shop for lunch, French Broad Chocolate Lounge for an afternoon treat, Chai Pani for dinner, M.G. Road for after dinner drinks. Also, check out a LaZoom tour – they’re so much fun!
