Amber from Hatchett Creative Group is back! Check out this great tutorial for a Halloween chalkboard to help you get ready for fun weekend!
I’m excited to introduce you to two ladies I love: Amber and Darlene Hatchett of Hatchett Creative Group.
These two creative women – one an amazing jewelry designer, the other a reclaimed wood decor and denim upcycling expert – produce fashion shows, create window displays, and provide pieces for major brands and actresses (any Walking Dead fans out there?) across the United States. And now, they’re here! Writing for Leaves and Beards.
Both Amber and Darlene will be contributing pieces to Leaves and Beards over the coming months, providing you with easy and affordable how-to’s, DIY projects, home decor items, and much more. I’m so excited to partner with them!
Earlier this summer, Eric and I met this couple. New to the area, like so many people who call Asheville home, Christina and Blaise had made the decision to start their lives together in our little town, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
They wanted to make friends, so they started a project called Asheville Folk.
I. Love. Gallery. Walls.
I love them because they help fill large spaces, communicate a theme, and allow me to revel in my hoarding and collecting tendencies.
Life has been crazy. Do you ever have those days, weeks, or months that go by and, at the end, you’re not quiet sure what you’ve accomplished or what happened? That’s been my life for a few weeks now. Sorry for abandoning you!
But, fear not, I have spent some time this month doing a lot of work around the house including several fun DIY projects. Here’s an easy and simple project I recently finished!
January was a whirlwind, I tell ya! It’s our busiest month at work, I finished a Whole30, and I ended the month by moving to a new facility and a new office. Wow!
But, if you know anything about me, you’ll know that a new office is just a new opportunity for me to DECORATE!
To My Dear Readers:
It’s the most magical time of year. Can you believe it?
Tablescapes really are my favorite thing in the world. I think it’s because I used to watch way too much “Semi-Homemade Cooking” with Sandra Lee. That show is also where I learned some of my favorite cocktail recipes. They go something like this: pour 2 cups of vodka/gin/rum into a pitcher, add a tablespoon of cranberry/lemon/lime juice, DRINK!
